Kelli Nigh, PhD (Ed)

As a former professional singer and actor, Kelli Nigh developed a unique approach to mind-body inquiry in the drama classroom. This approach was introduced to students in a diverse range of educational settings, including community arts centres, public and private schools. Kelli recently completed her doctoral research on the mind-body relationship at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto and is now publishing the findings in educational journals and books. She is also busy co-editing a book that addresses wisdom and its pedagogical practices. Kelli has taught holistic education and human development in teacher education programs and has thoroughly enjoyed introducing qualitative research to students at The Living Institute.
